PROTOCOL for Divisions 2 and 3

Second pair of shoes just for curling.  No Exceptions.

 

Take your sports bags to the ice area to store under the benches.

When putting rocks away, always push rocks with brush.  The brush should always be touching the rock.

League conditions for price discount:
4      everyone must be vigilant on cleanup (a signature of Optimist Junior Interclub)
4      pick up your own plus one other
                    *chips, fries, wrappers, containers
                    *all areas, carpet, under tables, washrooms
4      no food or drink past doors to ice area (water bottles in ice area – please keep track of your paper cup)

3 minutes ½ time break – only Coaches are allowed in ice area

Coaches on ice:
4      A and B Blocks – simulate as per CCA Rules of Curling for Officiated Play
4      C and D Blocks – as determined by mutual agreement between the two opposing   coaches prior to each game
4      E, F and G Blocks – coaches on ice up to full time but decreasing time as season progresses (maybe experiment with no coaching last two ends).

** Cleanup is Priority #2**

Coaches meeting 30 minutes after each Division’s games begin

 

Children are not allowed upstairs before 2 PM
